The Property

This property is unique in the Southern Zone. It is the only location that offers a panoramic ocean-view every day, and spectacular sunsets each evening. And it is an easy 5-minute walk to a deserted beach just down the road.

One day the current owner was walking on the beach below, looked up, and instantly fell in love with the view he could see of the buildings nestled in the jungle above. Initially he focused on renovating the buildings to a standard of luxury and unique architectural features. He then turned his attention to reviving the nature of the land itself. The property now extends over 75-acres nestled in a pristine Protected Biological Reserve.

There are a variety of nature hikes on the property, and trained guides are available to take you on bird-watching tours and even night tours. The Nature Reserve located on the property manages a variety of environmental protection projects, and has wildlife trip-cameras on the trails to record the return and increase of local species.

Come visit one of the most luxurious, unique, and beautiful event locations in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.

About Us

Nicole Gayatri

JANNETTE - Bio Photo Buenas! I’m Nicole, I love what I do and I cherish where I live.

After working in NYC for 10 years as an entrepreneur/Lifestyle Design Guru, I decided that I wanted a different pace of life. My heart told me Costa Rica was the place to be, and without really planning, I decided to move here. I gave up the hustle and bustle, crowded trains, and unending city noise. I found myself here in the southern zone of Costa Rica – with the ocean singing my soul’s song, the laid-back beach lifestyle, and the jungle soundtrack as music to my ears.

The Tico (Costa Rican) culture is so welcoming, and they truly live one moment at a time. I love walking down the street here, and everyone greets each other with “Pura Vida!” This phrase, which literally translates to Pure Life, is so much more than two words. It is the Costa Rican way of life. It means hello, goodbye, how are you, I’m great! It’s the answer to almost any question – Pura Vida!

It is my joy to show you what Pura Vida means, from local culture, and food, to the beauty of these vibrant lands. I’ve been working in and managing retreat centers in this area for over 6 years now, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The authentic connections and beautiful travelers that I get the pleasure of sharing this experience with are priceless.

Whether you desire a private chef to serve you lush local cuisine, luxury pampering through body treatments, exotic adventures, private yoga/dance lessons, a gorgeous space to explore personal development, or experiencing the culture via a dedicated driver (or car rental) – I delight in helping you create a stellar experience for your group to discover the magic of Costa Rica.

I have a unique understanding of both sides of the services needed for a retreat center. As a visionary creator and teacher at international festivals, I also host my own retreats around the world. So I know that the details matter. You’ll have the inside knowledge and tips, and I’m here to assist you and spark your imagination every step of the way.

I look forward to creating a one of a kind journey with you and for your guests!

What Others Say About Us

Staying at RPT Costa Rica Journeys was a retreat unlike any other! The panoramic views, the sounds of the jungle, the incredible meals and fresh fruit, morning swims in the pool, my beautiful bedroom suite, walks on the beach with the rolling waves, the charming town and it’s Saturday market.

All of these made my trip to Costa Rica one of the richest healing experiences of my life. I can’t say enough to express how special this place and this time was!

One beautiful morning, we went down to the beach to watch the tide and scarlet macaws in the wild. It was so quiet that we only heard the sound of the waves. Also after waking up in the morning, one could here only the sounds of nature.

For such a small corner of Costa Rica, there is a surprisingly high number of activities to try out and enjoy. The people from the property know the area very well, and are pleased to help you with planning trips.

This place is very special and not to be mistaken as a hotel. Let’s describe it more as an open house where everyone is welcome. I am definitely going to visit this lovely place again, every time I’m in the southern zone of Costa Rica.
